Why did I choose to make this? When I was a kid, my family couldn’t afford to buy toys. But my father used to carve little wooden automata — tiny animals that could move. Honestly, those were the happiest days of my life. I even started making some myself.

Wood stands for nature, motion stands for curiosity and innocence, and the marine life — with its slow, flowing rhythm — stands for calm and healing.
